My soul is here to sing.
But the words of the song are not just words.
My soul is here to dance, but this dancing extends well beyond my body.
My soul is here to share the beauty of life through song and dance.
When you hear song and dance you think of music.
When I say song and dance I mean connecting with the divinity of the world and sharing it through the only way my body knows how.
Expression.
Expression of the gifts that it seems I “just have” for no particular reason.
The gifts that come easily to me, but not everyone else.
And this is no expression of my specialness, but a declaration to show you your uniqueness.
You have these gifts too, whether you have found them or not, they are there.
If you’re still looking for your gifts to share with the world, I have good news.
You already know where to look, even if you haven’t realized it.
They’re your gifts, which means they must be inside of you.
All that you are missing is quieting your mind and allowing space for you to listen to yourself.

Making bad YouTube Videos
The only way I know how to learn new things is to try, fail, iterate, and try again & again until I succeed. By all measures this video is not great, and I am well aware of it. The video is an honest self reflection of what it is like to be bad at something but doing it anyway.

This past week I traveled from San Diego to San Francisco with a few stops along the way.
California is a naturally beautiful and simultaneously weird state.
You see a stunning natural views and then you have an encounter with someone that you cannot believe is a real person.
It’s a carousel of constant entertainment.
Based on my experience, California is a fun place to visit but I would not want to live here.
A sleepy beach town or the chaos of San Diego could be fun for a few months at a time though.
